When it comes to outfits, more than anything I recommend selecting clothing that reflects your family's personality and style. Your photos will feel so much more special if you feel like ‘you’ in them. When you book a session with me, I will send you a link to my style board which gives a whole bunch of ideas on colours and textures that photograph well. I’m also happy to help you decide on outfit combos and piece it all together.

Kids being kids is all part of the fun! I understand that little ones can have their own agenda sometimes - my toddler is no different. My sessions are always child-led and don't worry—I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeve to keep them engaged and capture those genuine moments. From games and silly jokes to interactive prompts, I'll create a relaxed and playful environment that encourages their natural personalities to shine. So, let them be themselves, and together we'll create beautiful memories!

Typically, a family session lasts around an hour, sometimes a little longer. This allows us to take our time, have fun, and for me to capture a variety of shots that tell your family's story. We'll have breaks for snacks or any necessary downtime to ensure everyone stays comfortable and engaged throughout the session. My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Taking the photos is all part of the memory.

I understand how exciting it is to see the final results! Within four weeks after your session, you can expect to receive an online gallery with edited images that beautifully reflect your family.

Absolutely (the whale may prove a little tricky)! Pets are cherished members of the family, and I love capturing their unique personalities too. Whether it's a dog, cat, or any other furry friend, they are more than welcome to join the session. Just let me know in advance so we can plan our location accordingly.
